A Tenaha man received injuries in an accident in Timpson Saturday morning as he stood outside his vehicle that was struck by another in the Neal Quarters near FM 947. Timpson Police officer Michael Williams says 81-year old William Huey was leaning up against his Toyotoa Sport SUV on Church Street, when a 15-year old unlicensed female, driving an Infiniti Q4S lost control, striking Huey’s vehicle, in turn forcing the vehicle backwards and coming into contact with the elderly man. Huey received emergency treatment from Timpson Volunteer EMS, and was life-flighted to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Longview with possible head injuries. William Huey’s condition is not known at this time. The teenager was cited for no driver’s license.
