Center Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 on information regarding two separate cases.

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect wanted from the Shelby County area. 23-year old William Alexander Lopez of Center is wanted for first degree Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child.

Lopez is described as a Hispanic male, 5-3, 120 pounds.

Also, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department is seeking information on the theft of a Predator generator, model 68530, 7,000-running watts, red and black in color taken by unknown suspect(s) from the Halstead residence on Hwy. 87 south in Shelbyville sometime between Sunday, Aug. 24 and Monday, Aug. 25.
