Early voting began yesterday in the Joaquin ISD for a Tax Ratification Election to be held Saturday, Sept. 13. Registered voters of the Joaquin ISD can cast their ballot at the school administration building from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday thru Friday thru Sept. 9.

The Joaquin ISD will hold a public meeting to discuss the Tax Ratification Election at 6 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 2 in the auditorium at the junior high/high school campus. The Joaquin ISD is asking residents to come and participate in the discussion.

The Joaquin ISD Board of Trustees have a Public Hearing at 5:30 p.m. this afternoon, and among the agenda items for discussion and possible action includes, amending the 2013-14 Budget; adopting the 2014-15 Budget; and approve fuel proposals.
