Tri-County Community Action has partnered with the East Texas Food Bank for a weekly food pantry giveaway known as "Harvest for Homes" for Shelby County residents. Certain criteria must be met to receive food, but you may qualify, regardless. You're asked to bring proof of Shelby County residency and income verification The grocery giveaway will be from 9 to 11:30 a.m. this morning, and every Thursday, at Tri-County's offices, at 214 Nacogdoches Street in Center. By the way, the produce drop, such as the one that took place yesterday, is held the fourth Wednesday of the month at the old CVS building in Center.
