Forecasters saying we could be in for an early fall

If you have enjoyed the below average temperatures and wetter summer weather we've experienced, that trend may continue through the fall.

AccuWeather.com is saying that cold fronts that are typical in Texas during the winter, could be making an early appearance, beginning as soon as mid-October.

At this point, long-range meteorologist are not sure if El Nino, the warmer than average waters in the Eastern Pacific, will be a factor in the East Texas weather pattern this fall.

AccuWeather is saying rain chances will improve over the last four months of the year, but not expected to help with drought conditions that continue to plague parts of Texas and the southwest.

AccuWeather said there's a high risk of severe weather this fall across the south.
