In Louisiana, a gallon’s averaging $3.23, down a three cents in the past week. Nationally, the average is $3.46, which is 8 cents less from the same time a year ago. Here at home, checking prices this morning in Center, the lowest we found was $3.26 at Wal-Mart, down three cents in the past week.
