To bring you up-to-date on a story we had last Friday concerning a one-vehicle roll-over accident on FM 711 Thursday.
DPS Trooper Jade Lavergne says 55-year old Regina Curry of Center was traveling west on FM 711 when she left the roadway, overcorrected and drove up an embankment, rolling a Kia Sorrento, with the vehicle coming to rest on its top.
A life-flight helicopter was called, however, Curry became combative and was removed, and it was determined her injuries were not life threatening.
She was taken to Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital for a blood test.
Trooper Lavergne reported she was cited for no seatbelt, no driver’s license and no insurance.
The vehicle was reportedly owned by Steve Tomlin.
The accident continues under investigation.
