Polk County authorities have uncovered another marijuana field for the second time in as many weeks.

Sheriff’s officials say six fields were discovered Tuesday after a call was received concerning suspicious activity in the southeast corner of Polk County.

Helicopters located the fields and 6,500 plants were harvested. The fields were similar to those harvested last week where 100,000 plants were harvested in the Goodrich area—which is being called the biggest marijuana field bust in Texas history.
