Center Volunteer Fireman gearing up for BINGO Fundraiser Saturday night

The fourth annual Center Volunteer Fire Dept. BINGO fundraiser will be held Saturday night at the Windham Civic Center. Games kick-off at 6 p.m. with cash prizes for winners in every BINGO game, with raffles and a variety of other door prizes throughout the evening, and there's no admission charge. Center Volunteer Fire Chief Rodney Mathews.

Mathews said BINGO cards are $1 each, and you can play as many per game as you want. There will be cash prizes of $25 each game, with two "black-out" games during the evening for $500 and the final game, $1,000.

Mathews notes funds raised from the BINGO games go to buy equipment such as bunker gear and items needed for the fire trucks. He also said chances continue to be sold for three guns that will be given away Saturday night with all funds going to fellow fireman Kevin O'Connor and his wife Saundra to help with medical and every-day living expenses as he recoups in Houston following a double-lung transplant. Ticket for the guns are available from any fireman, the fire station, or here at the radio station, for $5 each or 5 for $20.
