The San Augustine County Commissioners’ Court meets at 9 this morning, and among the items for discussion and possible action will be new benches for the courthouse sidewalks and porches as presented by Main Street Director Tracy Cox and City Manager Bruce Milstead will present plans for the City of San Augustine to place the recycle trailer at the courthouse one day a week. He’ll also introduce Pineywoods Sanitation as the city’s new garbage collection company.

In addition, a road issue in Pct. 4 from Concerned Citizen Sam Colotta is expected. The court will consider renewal of medical and dental insurance coverage for county employees; disposition of surplus on Ike 2.2 funds; the imposition of Texas Motor Vehicle Optional Fees for 2015; and Curtis Architecture plans and fire marshal’s requirements for the county jail.

San Augustine Commissioners will also get an update on the NIXEL notification call-out program.
