There will be a fundraising event for leukemia victim Max Matlock of Marshall, formerly of Joaquin at 11 a.m., tomorrow (Saturday, July 19) at Word of Faith Outreach on Hwy. 84 in Haslam. Max is the 10 year old son of Shane and Katherine Brewton Matlock, and is still fighting a courageous battle against cancer. The meal will consist of a hamburger, chips, drink and dessert for a $6 donation that will go to the Max Matlock Medical Fund.
