Center Crime Stoppers seeking information in arson case

Center Crime Stoppers is asking for your help in solving an arson case involving a suspicious house fire that occurred the evening of May 1 at 1595 FM 2674 in Center.

 

The Shelby County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the incident, which was being rented by four individuals from owner, Mary Harris.

 

Investigator Kevin Windham said during Deputy Adam Renfro’s initial report, he observed the source of the fire appeared to be from multiple locations in the house.

 

Center Fire Department responded to find the house full involved in fire, and requested a deputy. The Criminal Investigation Division of the Sheriff’s Department is working with the State Fire Marshal’s Office on the case.

 

Center Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information.
