A Nacogdoches small business owner was killed in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday.
DPS is saying 82-year old George Henry Millard, Jr. was pronounced dead at the scene approximately 14 miles west of Nacogdoches in Douglass.
He owned Millard Farms, and was a long-time vendor at the Nacogdoches Farmers Market.
The accident report says Millard was westbound on state Hwy. 21, entered a curve, left the roadway, struck a culvert then overturned, ejecting him from the pickup.
Millard was reportedly not wearing a seat belt.
An autopsy was ordered by Pct. 1 Justice of the Peace Kerry Williamson.
