A Garrison woman was arrested Tuesday night by DPS and accused of driving drunk with a child passenger.

DPS is saying 24-year old Karlie Rae Case has been charged with state-jail felony DWI with a child. A trooper was dispatched to US 59 north of Nacogdoches in an attempt to locate a possible intoxicated driver, as called in by another motorist.

The trooper was informed the driver had pulled into a home on County Road 130, and when the trooper arrived at the home, Case had multiple signs of intoxication and performed poorly on a field-sobriety test.

The four-year old child was released to the custody of a family member.
