Funeral Notices: 7/10/14

Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center and Garrison announces pending service for long-time employee and family member, 72-year old Perry Honea of Garrison. He passed away Wednesday at Nacogdoches Medical Center. Among Perry Honea’s survivors are, wife, Linda Honea; children, Traci Stokes, Jenni Bernard, and Brad Honea, all of Garrison.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 81-year old Patricia Parker of Bexar County, Texas. A visitation will be held prior to service, beginning at 9:30. Service will be at 11:30 Friday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Duncan Cemetery in Shelbyville. Among Patricia Parker’s survivors is her husband, Donald Parker of Center; children, Georgia McCotter of Shreveport, James Berridge of Haughton, Louisiana, Lisa Pearson of Haughton, Louisiana and Michael Berridge of Bossier City.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 58-year old Robert Lee Creech of Center. He passed away Wednesday at Twin Lakes Nursing Home in San Augustine. Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Newburn Cemetery, Center. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Mangum Funeral Home. Among Rober Lee Creech’s survivors are, daughter, Melissa Jones of Carthage; brother, Johnnie Creech of Center; and sister, Martha Martin.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine announces service for 58-year old Kay Frances Cuenco of San Augustine. Service will be at 2 Saturday at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with burial at Macune Cemetery in San Augustine County. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home.

 

Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors in Nacogdoches announces pending service for 92-year old Emma “LaVerne” Thruston of Martinsville. She passed away Tuesday in Center.

 

Garner & Son Mortuary of San Augustine announces service for 61-year old Patsy Ruth Thomas of San Augustine. Service will be at 11 Saturday at Reed Chapel Baptist Church, with interment at Greer Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 6:30 Friday at Garner & Son Chapel.

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 63-year old Leola “Sister Girl” Hewitt of Center. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Abundant Life Ministries in Center, with interment at Westview Cemetery in Center. Leola “Sister Girl” Hewitt is survived by husband, James A. Hewitt of Nacogdoches, daughters, Patsy Patton of Nacogdoches and Michelle Hewitt of Center; a son, Patrick McCollister, Sr. of Nacogdoches; brother, Leo McCollister of Center; and sister, Addie B. Greer of Dallas.
