We want to bring you up-to-date on a story we had yesterday. It was reported the Center Police Department executed a narcotics search warrant last Wednesday on two residences in East Center -- in the 12-hundred block of Brooks Street and 900 block of Greer Street.

Eight suspects were taken into custody. Seized during the raid on Brooks Street was 15-hundred grams of PCP, 17-hundred grams of Codeine Cough Syrup, 401 grams of Promethazine and over $28-hundred dollars in US currency.

Meanwhile, ecstasy, “crack” cocaine, and approximately 1.25 pounds of marijuana was seized at the Greer Street house.

Center Police Dept. advises this is an ongoing investigation with more arrest expected.
