Although complete details are still to be released, eight Center men were arrested last week when search warrants were served at two East Center residences where children were present. In addition, a large amount of cash and drugs, including PCP and marijuana were recovered by Center Police at the Brooks and Union Street addresses, located in drug free zones.

Taken into custody last Wednesday and booked on drug charges and abandon/endangering a child were: 24-Kennis Henderson, 37-year old Nicolas Denetri Rushing, 32-year old Atoshia Ayars, 21, year old Brandon Damarcus Roberts, 21-year old Daryl Lynn Nolan, Jr.,  24-year old Jamichael Phillips, 23-year old Trentin Patton and 24-year old Tristan Patton.
