Due to an outage experienced by SWEPCO - Southwestern Electric Power Company, the DETEC service areas powered by our Prospect, Timpson, Fitze, Central Heights, Shady Grove and Martinsville Substations have been affected.

We understand that being without electricity is a hardship, please be assured that DETEC is working diligently with SWEPCO to restore your power as soon as possible.  At this time, an estimated restoral time is unknown.  We will continue to keep you updated as updates are known.  Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
