The Tenaha ISD Board of Trustees has a called meeting at 5:30 this afternoon with a rather busy agenda. Among the items for consideration and approval will be adoption of the 2014-2015 School Budget; fuel, bread, milk, produce, snacks and cafeteria food and non-food item bids; designating Martha Boren as the district's grant writer; student and district travel meal rates; delegate and alternate for the Texas Association of School Board's Delegate Assembly; Region VII services for the new school year; and consider employment, resignations, new hire and/or discipline if needed. Prior to this afternoon's meeting, the Tenaha ISD Board of Trustees will have a called public school board hearing at 5:15 for discussion of the district's new budget and 2014 proposed tax rate (indebtness & service; maintenance and operation).
