Correction: Tenaha's HOPE Project on the receiving end of $100,000 funding for dental clinic

The HOPE Project medical and dental facility in Tenaha was on the receiving end of $100,000 in funding from the Episcopal Health Foundation this week, which will go to assist in completing construction of its new dental building. CEO Jean Diebolt says the clinic has been on the receiving end of the foundation’s funding since HOPE started 11 years ago, but never this much.

She says the HOPE Project is staffed with two full-time dentists that see from 25 to 30 patients a day, from near and far.

Ms. Diebolt added when complete, the new facility will allow for 40 to 45 patients daily, and it’s a full spectrum of dental services from filling and extractions to braces and implants.

Ms. Diebolt said the roof's on the dental facility, and it’s not too far from completion.
