TxDOT began hosting a series of statewide public meetings yesterday to welcome citizens' feedback on a long-range plan for the state's transportation needs. The Lufkin District will host one such event from 5:30 to 7:30 this Thursday evening, June 12 at the Texas Department of Transportation District Office in Lufkin. TxDOT encourages the public to join them for the meeting and provide input so they can best align available resources with areas of need.

The TxDOT-Lufkin district office is located at 1805 North Timberland Drive.
