Mangum Funeral Home announces the passing of  91-year old Mr. Alvin Dorner of Center. He passed away Thursday evening at Pine Grove Nursing Home in Center. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 today at Mangum Funeral Home. Graveside service and burial will be held in Haskell, Texas, Saturday. Among Alvin Dorner’s survivors, are his wife, Mrs. Margie Slatter Dorner of Center.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces graveside service for 59-year old Joe David Bullard, Sr. of Center. He passed away Wednesday at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 today at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Graveside service with military honors will be held at 2 Saturday at Rocky Mount Cemetery in the Rocky Mount Community of Louisiana. Among Joe David Bullard, Sr’s survivors,, his wife, Barbara Bullard of Center; sons, J.D. Bullard of Bossier City; Daniel Culver of Nacogdoches, and James Bullard of Johnson City, Tenn.; daughter, Christina Bullard of Johnson City, Tenn.; brothers, Mac Bullard of Sarepta, La., Ray Dell Bullard of Nacogdoches, and Maston Andrew Louis Bullard of Blanchard, La.; sisters, Annie Elaine McDaniel of Denham Springs, La., Patty Sue Hodiness of Magnum, La., Katie Louise Lancios of Clinton, La., and Tammy Adams of Shreveport.

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 84-year old Robert Lee “Dick” Johnson of Center. Lay in State will be from 10 to 11 Saturday morning at Triumph Church in Center, with service to follow. Interment will be at Westview Cemetery in Center. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 tonight at Community Funeral Home Chapel in Center. Among Robert Lee “Dick” Johnson’s survivors are, a daughter, Alice Dick of Center; six sons, Carl Johnson, Robert Lynn Johnson, Glen Johnson, Bobby Johnson, and Tommy Johnson, all of Center, and Charles Johnson of Dallas; a sister, Dessie Manning of Los Angeles; a brother, Jessie Sims of San Augustine; and brother-in-law, Kent Jones of Center.

A memorial graveside service will be held at 11 Saturday morning in Westview Cemetery in Center for 80-year old Dorothy Mae Randle. She passed away May 9 in Dallas.
