Texas State Bank in Joaquin and the U.S. Small Business Administration has been given the green light to proceed with foreclosure proceedings against Hotel Fredonia in Nacogdoches. The trustee in SE Pack Hospitality Chapter 7 bankruptcy withdrew objection to the lien holder’s attempts last week. The foreclosure sale is now scheduled to take place next Tuesday, June 3 at the Nacogdoches County Courthouse. Foreclosure sales have been postponed numerous times while lien holders negotiated with prospective buyers. Reents closed the property in November 2013, five years after acquiring it for $2.5 million.
