Funeral Notices: 5/26/14

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 93-year old Janie McSwain Johnson of Cleveland. She passed away Sunday in Cleveland. Service will be at 1 Thursday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Old Salem Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 Wednesday at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Among Janie McSwain Johnson’s survivors are, a son, Rev. Buddy Johnson of Waxahachie; two daughters, Jane Edwards of Ft. Worth and Jean Anderson of Cleveland; two sisters, Maxine Jernigan and Christine Mahan of Center; and brother, Bobby McSwain of Irving. In lieu of flowers, it was Janie’s desire that memorial donations be made to Baptist Missionary Association of America, Mexico Missions, P.O. Box 30910, Little Rock, Ark. 72260.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home was in charge of service Sunday for 92-year old Jane Roberts Perry of Center. She passed away Thursday at Nacogdoches Medical Center. Service was held at Watson & Sons Chapel with interment at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center. Among Jane Roberts Perry’s survivors are, children, Wayne Perry of Center, Sue Dumatrait of Ragley, Louisiana, and Janice Askew of Gilmer.

 

Taylor Funeral Home of Timpson announces service for 62-year old Sammy R. Dillon of Timpson. He passed away Sunday in Garrison. Service will be at 2 Wednesday at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel, interment with Masonic graveside rites will follow in Cold Springs Cemetery in Garrison. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Tuesday at Taylor Funeral Home. Among Sammy R. Dillon’s survivors, are, his mother, Billie Ruth Dillon of Nacogdoches; wife Pam Dillon of Nacogdoches; son, Kirk Dillon of Nacogdoches; daughter, Natisha Allen of Timpson; brothers, Danny Dillon, Mike Dillon and Tony Dillon; and sister, Tina Lightfoot.
