Chireno man arrested for beating teen daughter

A Chireno man was arrested Tuesday for allegedly beating his 13-year old daughter with an extension cord. According to the Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office, 50-year old Michael Allen Locke has been charged with second-degree felony injury to a child. Nacogdoches County Sheriff’s Office investigators say they were advised by an official at Woden ISD that a child had been spanked with an extension cord. The girl told the school administrator she woke her mother up around midnight Tuesday because of an ear ache. That’s when Locke allegedly told the girl she wasn’t going to school. He grabbed her by the hair, threw her on the bed and started hitting her with an extension cord wherever he could. It was reported the beating had occurred on numerous occasions. The girl received cuts on her arm and both legs.
