Kay Watson, 80, of Center, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025, in Center.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 21, 2025, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with
visitation beginning at Noon. Bro. Gordon Vaughn will officiate, assisted by Bro. Danny Dodson. Interment will
follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.
Born September 24, 1944, in Center, Kay is the daughter of Robert Shadrick Pate and Faye Elizabeth Schillings
Pate. She graduated from Timpson ISD. Kay loved her family.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby Watson of Center; daughter, Angela McDonald and husband Gary of
Center; grandchildren, Greg and Stefanie McDonald of Shelbyville, Grant and Heather McDonald of Shelbyville,
Stephen and Lynsie Watson of Shelbyville, Stephanie Watson and Paul Hagler of Shelbyville, and Sean Watson of
Center; great grandchildren, Sydney McDonald, Gavin McDonald, Gace McDonald, Shade McDonald, Levi
McDonald, Walker McDonald, Reece Watson, Mason Watson, Carson Copelin, Camille Copelin, Noah Watson,
Emerson Watson, Audrey Watson, and Zane Watson; sister, Alice Pate of Shelbyville; brother, Barry Pate and wife
Linda of Center; and daughter-in-law, Selena Watson of Center.
Preceded in death by her son, Scott Watson; parents, Shade and Faye Pate; and a host of aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Greg McDonald, Grant McDonald, Stephen Watson, Stephanie Watson, Sean Watson, and
Carson Copelin. Honorary pallbearers will be great grandchildren.
