Jackie Charles Boyett, 68, of Joaquin, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2025, in Tyler.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center
with visitation beginning at Noon. Bro. Joe Walker will officiate. Interment will follow at Brookland Cemetery in
Joaquin.
Born July 13, 1956, in Center, Jackie is the son of Johnnie Boyett and Bernice Evans Boyett. He enjoyed hunting
and taking care of his dogs and horses. Jackie loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his daughters, Sherry Roberts and husband Blake of Bullard and Gabrielle Woodward and
husband Lott of Gloster, Louisiana; grandchildren, Kenzi, Bryce, Hudson, and Kross; sister, Mary Stanley and
husband Gary of Joaquin; and brother, Johnnie Joe Boyett of Gladewater.
Preceded in death by his son, Buddy Boyett; parents, Johnnie Boyett and Bernice Evans Boyett; sister, Donna Sue
Bell; and brother, Wayne Boyett.
Pallbearers will be Blake Roberts, Brad Stanley, Jeff Sharp, Gary Evans, Willie Strawther, and Dub Alford.
