Marvin Lloyd Hedrick, 73, of Broaddus, passed away Monday, March 31, 2025, in Lufkin.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with
visitation beginning at Noon. Bro. Ruston Bush will officiate. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in
Center.
Born November 21, 1951, in Kilgore, Marvin is the son of Boyd Hedrick and Edith Jones Hedrick. His hobbies
included fishing, boating, and yardwork. Marvin loved spending time traveling with his wife.
He is survived by his children, Loretta Smith of Pasadena, Patricia Figueroa of Goodyear, Arizona, Samantha
Hedrick of Pasadena, Robert Bush of Center, Melody Griffin and husband Robert of Center, and Steven Bush and
wife Renee of Tenaha; a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and
sister, Louise Compton and husband Carroll of Republic, Missouri.
Preceded in death by wife, Louise Hedrick; parents, Boyd Hedrick and Edith Jones Hedrick; sisters, Brenda Smith,
Elaine Bynum, Mary Behrends, Paula McGuire, Lavon Drake; and brother, Sam Hedrick.
Pallbearers will be Bill Shahan, Keith Futch, Robert Harper, Blake Griffin, Colton Bush, and Derek Boone.
