JE was born in Tyler, Texas to the late Johnny Earl Pettigrew Sr and Gloria Lee Smith Pettigrew on August
8, 2025. JE departed his life on March 9, 2025, in Hemphill, Texas. Funeral service for JE Pettigrew will
be Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church 623 Martin Luther King Center,
Texas 75935 at 1:00 PM. Rev. Luke Hamilton Jr. will be the Eulogist.
Mr. JE Pettigrew is survived by:
2 Sisters: Ernestine Pinson and Ann Marie Pettigrew
Aunt: Mozelle Smith
