Jimmy “Bo” Norris Jones, 73, of Center, Texas, passed away on February 20, 2025, in Tyler, Texas. He was born on August 16, 1951, to the late Eugene Jones and Lela (Askew) Jones.
Funeral services will be held at 2PM on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at
Mangum Funeral Home, with Bro. Bobby Warr officiating. Interment will
follow at Buckner Cemetery, Center, Texas.
Visitation will be held prior to the service on February 22, 2025, beginning
at 1PM at Mangum Funeral Home.
Jimmy was born and raised in Shelby County, He attended Center Schools.
Jimmy worked over 25 years at Center Plywood earning his 25yr award.
Jimmy loved fishing while he was able and taking care of his dogs. Later in
life he enjoyed drawing. He would spend hours creating artwork.
He is survived by his sister,
Louann Peeler and husband Richard of Silsbee

Patsy Jones of Carthage
Numerous nieces and nephews
Bo is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Lela Jones; sisters,
Virginia Daugherty and Daisy Jones; brother, Elbert Jones; brother-in-law,
James Daugherty; nephew, Michael Daugherty; and niece, Theresa Miles.
