Antonio Garcia, 56, of Center, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, in Nacogdoches.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center
with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.
Born March 29, 1968, in Comonfort, Guanajuato, Mexico, Antonio is the son of Jose Garcia and Raquel Alvarez.
He is survived by his children, Marianna Vazquez-Garcia of Lufkin, Yvonne Garcia of Tyler, Yvette Garcia of
Center, Julie Garcia of Center, Jose Antonio Carreno Garcia of Lufkin, and Jeremiah Alonzo Garcia-Smith of
Jackson, Mississippi; grandchildren, Ezra Vazquez, Isabella Vazquez, and Romie Vazquez; sister, Maria Vianey
Garcia of Shelbyville; brother, Eleazar Garcia of Center; nieces, Natalia Leon Garcia of Center and Yetzemanit
Sanchez of Shelbyville; nephew, Emmanuel Leon of Center; and numerous other nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, Jose Garcia and Raquel Alvarez; sister, Maria “Chuy” Garcia; brothers, Martin
Garcia and Alvaro Garcia; and niece, Raquel Leon Garcia.
Pallbearers will be Jose Antonio Carreno Garcia, Jeremiah Alonzo Garcia-Smith, Rogelio Vazquez, Emmanuel Leon,
Fernando Mata, and Eleazar Garcia.
