Leither Marie Keele Crawford, 81, of Center, passed away Friday, January 3, 2025, in Nacogdoches.
Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 11, 2025, at White Rock Cemetery in Center with
visitation beginning at Noon at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.
Born July 22, 1943, in Nacogdoches, Leither is the daughter of Arthur Lafayette Keele and Reba Deola Tindol
Keele. She loved to quilt and sew.
She is survived by her sons, Raymond Crawford of Nacogdoches and James Crawford and wife Pam of
Weatherford; grandchildren, Kevin Crawford, Coleman Crawford, Thomas Crawford, Lonnie Whitton, and Marissa
Escobedo; several great grandchildren; and sisters, Nora Belle Fults of Center and Joyce Ann Tubbs of Palestine.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Mervil Ray Crawford; daughter, Pamela Annette Crawford; parents,
Arthur Lafayette Keele and Reba Deola Tindol Keele; sisters, Ora Mae Watkins and Minnie Ola Amidon; and
brothers, Arthur Daniel Keele, Audrey Howard Keele, and Randall Lawrence Jones.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie Whitton, Allen Whitton, Thomas Crawford, Coleman Crawford, Kevin Crawford, and
David Beeason.
