Duane C. Lout, 77, of Shelbyville, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024, in Shelbyville.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 20, 2024, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center
with visitation beginning at noon. Bro. Jim Moss and Bro. Ben Iskitt will officiate. A masonic graveside service
will follow at Rather Cemetery in Shelbyville under the direction of Sam Houston Masonic Lodge #32.
Born January 8, 1947, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Duane is the son of Clayton Lout and Sarah Goodwin Lout.
He was a member of Sam Houston Masonic Lodge #32, Shelbyville Lions Club, Shelbyville Volunteer Fire
Department, and Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Delois Lout of Shelbyville; daughters, Nikki Miller and husband Patrick of Lufkin and
Renea Schott and husband Brian of Longview; grandchildren, Cole Miller, Conner Miller, Devan Lout, Cody Hyde,
Samantha Schott, and Zachary Schott; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Lout; mother, Sarah Brown; and brother, Al Lout.
Pallbearers will be Patrick Miller, Cole Miller, Conner Miller, Brian Schott, Zachary Schott, Devan Lout, and Darrin
Lout. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Goodwin, Lout, and Warren families.
