Larry Fred Terry, 81, of Tenaha, Texas, passed away on October 24, 2024, in
Tenaha, Texas. He was born on January 12, 1943, in Vivian, Louisiana, to
the late Hardy Terry and Grace (Rowe) Terry.
Honoring his wishes to be cremated and no services are planned.
Larry was born and raised in Vivian, Louisiana. He married the love of his
life 59 years ago, Linda Riley. The two raised two children. He loved his
wife, and children. Larry was dedicated to his community. He served over
40 years on the Teneha Volunteer Fire Department as Assistant Chief. He
was a longtime member of Tenaha Masonic Lodge #737. Larry enjoyed
fishing and watching TV with his Chihuahua companion “Daisey Mae”. He
also enjoyed playing the guitar with his rowdy friends! Larry was a member
of First Baptist Church Tenaha where he served as a Sunday School teacher
for many years.
