Betty C. Permenter, 96, of Center, passed away Friday, October 25, 2024, in Center.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center with Mr. Andrew King officiating.

Born August 30, 1928, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Betty is the daughter of George Letford Perkins and Maxine Pearl McQuillen Perkins.  She was of the Church of Christ faith.

She is survived by her son, Jim Permenter of Center; daughter, Suzanne Richards of Center; grandchildren, Jerrod Permenter, Amy Bosscher, and Hannah Lee and husband Mark; great grandchildren, Stephen, John, Andrew Lee, and Ella Permenter; numerous nieces and nephews; and daughter-in-law, Janie Permenter.

Preceded in death by her sons, Jerry Permenter and Mike Permenter; parents, George Letford Perkins and Maxine Pearl McQuillen Perkins; daughter-in-law, Jan Permenter; son-in-law, Rex Richards; and sister, Barbara Barnes.
