Patricia “Nikki” Diaz, 41, of Joaquin, Texas, passed away on October 12,
2024, surrounded by loved ones in Tyler, Texas, after a brief illness. She
was born on October 18, 1982, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Charles Brown
and Mary (Evans) Brown.
Funeral service will be held at 2PM on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at
Mangum Funeral Home, with Bro. Tommy Cunningham officiating.
Interment will follow at Jackson Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 6-8PM on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at
Mangum Funeral Home, Center, Texas.
Nikki attended Joaquin High School. Her favorite hobbies were coloring,
doing yard work, and spending time with family and friends. The family will
miss having her at holiday gatherings. Her brother, JR, loved to see how
mad he could make her. Regardless of how mad he made her, she always
let it be known she loved her “baby brother” very dearly.

Cunningham and Morris Wayne Brown.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the ICU staff at UT Health
Tyler for the compassionate care shown during Nickki’s stay.
