Bro. Billy Windham, 81, of Shelbyville, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, in Nacogdoches.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 7, 2024, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in
Center. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro.
Kevin Windham and Bro. B.J. Windham officiating. Interment will follow at Patroon Cemtery in Patroon.
Born October 19, 1942, in Patroon, Bro. Billy is the son of Earl Windham and Nellie Risinger Windham. He served
as Pastor of New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church in Shelbyville for 48 years. His hobbies included hunting
with his brother, Don, and watching football. Bro. Billy loved spending time with his family, especially his children
and grandchildren. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and he loved his church family.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Windham; children, B.J. Windham, Rachel Crawford and husband Josh, and
Sandra Parker and husband Danny; granddaughters, Jaelyn, Jenna, and Julie Crawford and Samantha, Alex, and
Brianna Black; brother, Don Windham and wife Linda; sister, Betty Denby; mother-in-law, Patricia Dean; sisters-
in-law and brothers-in-law, Marla and Tony Denby, Leanne and Philip Chambliss, and Holly and Robert Amburn;
brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Junior and Joyce Dean; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, Earl and Nellie Windham; brother, James Wyatt Windham; brother-in-law, Bill
Denby; sister-in-law, Nettie Windham; and father-in-law, Clint Dean.
Pallbearers will be Junior Dean, Jeff Windham, Philip Chambliss, Tony Denby, Robert Amburn, Keith Windham,
Nolan Chambliss, and Jarrod Denby. Honorary pallbearer will be Timmy Denby.
