Brenda Gail Doster, 79, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, in Shelbyville.
Memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 4, 2024, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses
Center, 3751 Loop 500 East, Center, Texas, with Monte Belote officiating.
Born April 11, 1945, in Center, Brenda is the daughter of Denver Parish Goings and Mary Jane Chambliss Goings.
She enjoyed travelling, shopping, and talking to people about the Bible. Brenda was a member of Center
Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
She is survived by her sister, LaRetta Dean of Shelbyville; nephew, Chris Vaughn of Shelbyville; niece, Tinka
Saintignan and husband Mark of Nacogdoches; great nieces and nephews, Kasey Giancaspro and husband Joe of
Connecticut, Randy Vaughn of Shelbyville, Corey Wayne Vaughn and wife Stephanie of Connecticut, Ryon Vaughn
and wife Rachel of Elkhart, Dexter Vaughn and wife Brianna of Shelbyville, Jessie Durbin and husband Reece of
Nacogdoches, Austin Vaughn of Shelbyville, and Lillie Saintignan of Tyler; and a host of great great nieces and
nephew.
Preceded in death by husband, Eldon Doster; parents, Denver Parish Goings and Mary Jane Chambliss Goings;
and nephew, Robert Vaughn.
