Edwin Earl Parker Jr., 44, of Lufkin, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024, in Lufkin.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 22, 2024, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in
Center with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery in Shelby County.
Born September 12, 1980, in Carthage, Edwin is the son of Edwin Parker Sr. and Nelda Lout Turner. After high
school, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Edwin enjoyed building, computers, and helping others
with electronics. He loved spending time with his nephews and his dog, Ace.
He is survived by his father, Edwin Parker Sr; mother, Nelda Lout Turner; brothers, Mickey Parker and Colton
Parker; and nephews, Charlie and Caleb Parker.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Sam and Norma L. Lout, Tommy Wayne Parker, and Louise Glaze; and
his uncle, Jeff Parker.
Pallbearers will be Mickey Parker, Kenneth Parker, Edwin Parker Sr., Steve Parker, Caleb Parker, Mitch Ragsdale,
and Jayden Mathis.
