Bobby Howell Cassell, 60, of Shelbyville, Texas, passed away on September 29, 2023, in Huxley, Texas. He was born on November 14, 1962, in Center, Texas, to the late Howell Cassell and Johnnie (Kay) Cassell.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Mangum Funeral Home with Bro. Gordon Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow at Strong Cemetery.

Visitation will be held prior to the service beginning at 1:00 PM on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at Mangum Funeral Home.

Bobby was born and raised in Shelby County. He graduated from Joaquin High School. Bobby enjoyed fishing in his pond and riding around Huxley. He was a member of Lydia Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sisters, Judy Marie Goings, Glennis Tom Carroll, Joy Lynn Redmon; special niece, Sondra Dutton and close friend John Mayhaw; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; and a host of friends that will miss him dearly.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, Howell and Johnnie Cassell; brother, Bobby Joe Cassell; and sister Johnnie Cassell Cook.

Pallbearers serving will be Ken Cassell, John Mayhaw, James David Carroll, Robbie Dutton, Jason Jackson, Jack Tyre Jr., Jeff Estes, and Kelan Dutton.
