Faye Hooper, 86, of Martinsville, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2023, in Nacogdoches. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 17, 2023, at White Rock Cemetery in Shelby County with Bro. Jason Hebert officiating. Born November 1, 1936, Faye is the daughter of Riley Bush and Bura Lee Courtney Bush. She worked for Moore Business Forms and Center Plywood. Faye also ran Martinsville Grocery Store for several years. Most of all, her devotion was to her husband, kids, and grandkids. She was a member of White Rock Missionary Baptist Church in Shelby County.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Hooper of Martinsville; daughters, Brenda Fancher of Martinsville, Beverly Battles and husband Rick of Nacogdoches, and Debbie Newton of South Carolina; grandkids, Tammy Martin and husband Cody, Amanda Willeford and husband Zach, Paul Matthew Battles and wife Jill, Kristi Bouphasavanh and husband Sithy, Kimberly Price and husband Robert; great grandkids, Brian Fancher, Savannah Martin, Jordan Recio and husband Aaron, Alanna Martin, Carter Martin and wife Taylor, Logan Martin and wife Victoria, Maverick Martin, Brody Willeford, Daxon Willeford, Hayden Battles, Pierson Battles, and Barrett Price; great great grandkids, Paisleigh Everett and Reece Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Riley Bush and Bura Lee Courtney Bush; son, Raymond Hooper; grandkids, Michael and wife Harolyn Adams Fancher and Chanda Fancher Pipes; son-in-law, Ricky Fancher; great grandkid, Gavin Willeford.
