Sandra Gail Eddins, 62, of Center, Texas passed away peacefully at home on January 20, 2023. Sandra was born May 24, 1960, in Port Arthur, Texas to Frank Hughes and Betty Crump Rippy.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023, from 6-8PM at Mangum Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at Mangum Funeral Home, on Friday, January 27, 2023, at 2:00 PM Bro. Tommy Ford and Bro. Chris Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Sholar Cemetery, Joaquin, Texas.

Sandra was raised in Joaquin, Texas. She graduated from Joaquin high school and went on to receive her degree in nursing as an LVN from Panola College. Sandra was a nurse for the late Dr. Joe Hooker and Dr. Steve Oates. She later worked for many years as a Home Health nurse. Sandra dedicated her life to taking care of others. Sandra loved her profession and was very good at what she did. She was always smiling and could definitely make you smile and keep you laughing. Sandra had a beautiful personality.

Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Sandra and Robert Sr (Bobbie) married on March 13, 1982. Everyone that knew Sandra knew how much she loved her children and grandbabies and she would go to the ends of the earth to make them happy.

Proceed in death by father, Frank Hughes; mother, Betty Rippy; step-father, Charles Rippy; brother Steve Hughes, sisters, Pam Cunninham, Janie Hughes Wheless. Pallbearers serving will be Adam Eddins, Alan Eddins, Robert Eddins Jr., Ryan Eddins, Joshua Eddins, Jerry Lyle Huffman, Gaylon Howard
