Mary Hutto

Mary Hutto, 86, of Joaquin, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2022, in Center. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2022, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 31, 2022, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Paul Silvey and Bro. Shawn Thrapp officiating. Interment will follow at Sholar Cemetery in Joaquin. Born October 8, 1936, in Oklahoma, Mary is the daughter of Vernice Dawson Walker and Kinley Walker. She loved sewing, being in the yard, and spending time with her babies. Mary was a member of First Baptist Church in Joaquin and the Ladies Auxiliary-Joaquin Volunteer Fire Department. She is survived by her daughters, Ann and husband Tommy Boyett of Joaquin and Kay and husband David Cunningham of Logansport, Louisiana; grandchildren, Jeremy Boyett and wife Sue Sue, Justin Boyett and wife Katie, Alicia and husband Stephan Carroll, and Savanna and husband Jake Pitts; great grandchildren, Bella, Avery, Cason, Aubree, Ellie, Cohen, Alyssa, Easton, Ainsley, Levi, and Lisa. Preceded in death by husband, Jim C. Hutto; parents, Kinley Walker and Vernice Dawson Walker; siblings, Geneva Horn, K.E. (Sonny) Walker, Ray Kenneth Walker, Marvin Glenn Walker, and Connie Straus; and grandchildren, Bradley Cade Boyett and Mary Danielle Boyett. Pallbearers will be Patrick McKim, Jeremy Boyett, Justin Boyett, Jake Pitts, Rusty Wilson, and Stephen Ewing.
