Juan Solis Jr.

 

Juan Solis Jr., 33, of Nacogdoches, passed away Sunday, November 27, 2022. Visitation will start at 12:00 noon on Friday, December 2, 2022 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home in Center, Texas. Funeral Service will be held 12:00 noon Saturday, December 3, 2022 at St. Therese Catholic Church in Center, Texas. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center, Texas. Born July 13, 1989, Juan or Johnny is the son of Juan Solis and Maria Servin. He worked as a truck driver. Johnny loved spending time with his nieces and nephews, known to them as “Uncle Johnny,” and to most of his friends and coworkers as “Little Johnny or LJ.” He especially enjoyed fishing with his brothers and nephews. His hobby was wood working, where he made many things by hand. Johnny had a love for motorcycles and was often riding his own. Survivors include parents, Juan and Maria Solis; siblings, Maria and Jose Arriola, Blanca and Hector Romero, Maria De los Angeles Solis, Obed and Anita Solis, Mike Solis and Mayra Mendoza, Rene Solis, Adan Solis, and Denise Solis; aunts and uncles, Jose R. and Filomena Servin, Antonia and Isidro Gracia, Reyna Servin, Teresa and Raul Arriola, Magdalena and Saul Luna, Elvia Rosa Servin, Audelia Solis, Sara Solis, Ines and Petra Solis, Magdaleno and Francisca Solis, and Arnulfo Solis; nieces and nephews, Gisell, Athziry & Josue Arriola, Abby & Sophie McDonald, Mauncio, Erick & Angie Rojas, Alyssa & Obed Ethan Solis, Seth, Nathan & Aidan Lane Solis, Alba, Santiago, Penelope & Lucas Solis, and Camilla Causey; grandparent, Lucia Lopez Garcia, and numerous family from Mexico, Chicago, Dallas, Phoenix, New Jersey, Florida, and California.
