Jerry Lee Goetzman, 73, of Shelbyville, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022, in Houston.

Funeral service to be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with visitation at Noon. Johnny Black to officiate. Interment will be at Rosevine Cemetery in San Augustine County. Born December 28, 1948, in Houston, Jerry is the son of Lona Mae Roach and Wayne Goetzman. He had many hobbies, including fishing, hunting, camping, outdoors, horseback riding, and trail riding.

Survivors are daughter, Lisa Goetzman; son, Jason Goetzman and wife Kerri; grandson, Caiden Goetzman; son, Dennis Stringer and wife Sharon; grandsons, Michael Stringer and wife Kristi and Jason Stringer and wife Christi; great grandchildren, Mikey Stringer, Abbi Stringer, Chace Stringer, Cace Stringer, and J.J. Stringer; and multiple nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by wife, Yvonne Wetzel Goetzman; parents, Lona Mae Roach and Wayne Goetzman; and brothers, Lawrence, James, and Bobby Goetzman.

Pallbearers will be Michael Stringer, Mikey Stringer, and Jason Stringer.
