 Hicks Mortuary is announcing funeral service for Mr. Gwendolyn James Dodd (63) commonly known as “Frat” of Center, Texas.   Mr. Dodd died on Friday, June 17, 2022, at Nacogdoches Medical Center in Nacogdoches, Texas.      Mr. Dodd was born to the late Spencer Dodd and Imogene Greer Dodd on March 7, 1959, in Center, Texas.     Funeral service will be on Friday, June 24, 2022, at 1:00 PM at St John Baptist Church in the Africa Community.     Pastor Marlin Cloudy Sr.  will be officiating. 

Mr. Dodd is survived by:

Brother: Vencer Dodd of Center, Texas 

Sisters:  Helen Davis of Houston, Texas; Margaret Baltimore of Beaumont, Texas; Brenda Dodd of Center, Texas; Onita Dodd of Center, Texas; Melba McClelland of Houston, Texas; and Lonniece Simmons (Wilbert) of Center, Texas

 

Visiting:  Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Hicks Chapel 1:00 PM-7:00 PM

 

Committal:  St John Cemetery in Center, Texas
