Johnnie Louise Wilburn Snider

Johnnie Louise Wilburn Snider, 77, of Center, passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021, in Center.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m., Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with visitation one hour prior.  Bro. Gordon Vaughn will officiate.  Interment will follow at Willow Grove Cemetery in Shelby County.

Born February 27, 1944, in Call, Johnnie is the daughter of Roland Wilburn and Veola Martin Wilburn.  She was married to the love of her life, James Allen Snider, for over forty years and together, they raised four children.  Johnnie’s career was in the poultry industry; however, her priority was being a loving wife and mother.  Family meant everything to her. Johnnie was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Center.

Left to cherish her memory is her three sons, Jimmy Snider and wife Rhonda of Timpson, Jeff Snider of Carthage, and Jason Snider and wife Tiffany of Center; one daughter, Janice Snider Hughes of Center; grandchildren, Crystal Collins and husband Brian, Christopher Snider and wife Terri, Brandi Brown and husband Chad, LeeAnn Masterson and husband R.J., Jody Martin, Stephanie Snider, Jeffrey Snider, Colton Snider, Kylee Snider, and Kinley Snider; great grandchildren, Mac, Molly, Sadie, Logan, Cayman, James, Livia, Cason, and Lyla; brothers, Kenneth Wilburn and wife Lucy of Houston and Jesse Wilburn and wife Cindy of Nacogdoches; sister-in-law, Lanell Snider of Center; also numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Snider; parents, Roland Wilburn and Veola Martin Wilburn; sister, Margie Faulk; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alvin and Cecil Snider; sister-in-law, Helen Barton; and brother-in-law, Jerrell Snider.

Pallbearers will be Joel Barton, Chris Snider, Colton Snider, Kevin Hutto, Dennis Hutto, and Chester Hutto.
