Kathy Eva Metcalf Krog, 52, of Temple, Texas, passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021, in Temple.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 29, 2021, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at McClelland Community Church in the McClelland Community of Shelby County.  Bro. Chris Collins will officiate.  Interment will follow at McClelland Community Cemetery.  

Born October 24, 1969, in Center, Kathy is the daughter of Bernard Harold Metcalf and Martha Guinelle Sartors Metcalf.  She enjoyed her goats (Sadie and Chance), her dogs (Allie and Lucky), but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandbaby, nieces, and nephews.  Kathy was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, James Krog of Troy; daughters, Kaylee and Tyler Rhea and Britney Krog; son, James Krog; grandbaby, Kynlee Rhea; parents, Bernard and Guinelle Metcalf of Shelbyville; sister, Phyllis and Chris Cummings of Waco; brother, Shannon Metcalf of Shelbyville; nephew, Bradley and Cady Cummings of Axtell; nieces, Kimberly and Reed Young of Lorena and Haley Cummings of Waco; great nephews, Jaxon Young of Lorena and Cannon Cummings of Axtell; great nieces, Brynlee Cummings of Axtell and Brystal Cummings of Axtell; aunt, Mary Elizabeth Byrd; lifetime best friend, Jennifer Ogden of Grandbury; goddaughter, Makenzie Woycheshin of Waco; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Paul and Shirley Krog of Troy; and sister-in-law, Debbie Krog of Troy.

Pallbearers will be Bradley Cummings, Shane Metcalf, James R. Krog, Chad Metcalf, Justin Metcalf, Reed Young, Wesley Metcalf, and Tyler Rhea.  Alternate pallbearers will be Waylon Griffith and Monte Dale Griffith. 

Memorial donations can be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in Bethesda, Maryland or an organization of choice.
