Louise Gamble

 

Louise Gamble, 88, of Center, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021, in Center.

Graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 17, 2021, at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center with visitation one hour prior at Watson & Sons Funeral Home.

Born March 29, 1933, in Shelby County, Louise is the daughter of Ed Windham and Lottie Windham.  She was raised in the Goober Hill community and graduated from Shelbyville High School. Louise retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone.  After retirement she loved her flowers.  Both in the yard and the dried flower arrangements she enjoyed making.  But her greatest joy in life was being “MeMe”…

She is survived by her son, Stephen H. Gamble; grandchildren, Matthew S. Gamble, Kristen Sierra, Collin McElroy, and Cameron McElroy; great grandchildren, Jeramiah and Malachi Sierra.

Proceded in death by parents, Ed Windham and Lottie Windham; husband, Hugh O. Gamble; brother, Willie Ed Windham; and daughter-in-law, Jamie Campbell Gamble.
