John Edward Smith, 57, of Shelbyville, Tx passed away on July 24 ,2021. Born on November 22, 1963, to Ira L. Smith and Juanita Faye Burgess.

Visitation will be held Thursday July 29, 2021, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Mangum Funeral Home Center, TX. Funeral Service will be Friday July 30, 2021, at 3:00PM at Mangum Funeral Home Center, TX. Interment to fallow at Wimberly Cemetery Shelbyville, TX.

John grew up in Hughes Spring, TX and attended Carthage High School. He loved fishing, hunting, camping, karaoke and spending time with family friends and grandkids.  

Survived by Sons: John Kolyn Smith, Justin Edward Smith; Daughters: Amberly Dawn Smith, Carey Marie Smith Harris and Husband Adren; Brothers: Douglas Ray Smith and wife Debbie, Ronnie Lynn Smith; Sister: Judy Ann Curtis and husband David; Grandchildren: Kayla, Aiden, Carli, Haven, Kolyn, Anthony and Justin; Stepson: Kevin Paul Green.

Preceded in death by Parents: Ira L. Smith and Juanita Faye Burgess, Daughter: Taresa Rachel Smith.
